Talos: About probability and why it is your border in Casino Games

Although one can have plenty of fun while gambling, if you want to be ahead and have better chances at winning, there are things to consider before you enter the casino. And I’m not talking about wearing lucky charms or asking a psychic for advice. There’s hard, science-based knowledge you can put to good use when playing casino games. What I’m referring to is gambling mathematics.

But what’s gambling mathematics anyway? It’s the theory based on countless situations and instances of gambling that have been closely examined. In one word, it has to do with probability. It is the result of research and practical experiments of many and it can be used by whoever can read it to help analyse the probable outcome of a gambling event. When we’re talking casino games, probably the best-known example of such a strategy is the so-called Gambler’s Fallacy. As one can deduct from its very name, it’s a fallacy, i.e. its presumption is wrong.
